Hello, my dear Abha.

I have been practicing yoga since I was 20 years old. My practice keeps changing and deepening.

I first started with yoga asanas, physical body movements, to get stronger and to stay flexible.

During the next phase, I kept my focus on strength and flexibility and added healthy eating. And then included were healthy thoughts.

Now, included in my yoga practice is peace of mind, calmness, presence and intention. The asanas have taken on a deeper meaning since intention, presence, calmness, lightness of being are included in each movement and each breath.

Yoga, for me, is as important as sleep and food. It’s a practice I love, need and appreciate. It’s a practice which changes, without judgement, during the aging process. It’s a practice which keeps on teaching me how to be intentional, present, compassionate, thoughtful and loving. Yoga is a beautiful practice.
